Abby is a chocolate American Cocker Spaniel who is badly in need of a trim right now. She is the bossy girl of the bunch. Her favorite toy in the whole world is a squeaky tennis ball.
Heidi is a Shih Tzu and was a rescue from a horrible puppy mill. She is the sweetest little girl in the world who has gradually learned to trust. She tends to be a bit of a diva in the snow. It’s cold! The snow sticks to her fur and makes her wet! And the worst part, if it is very deep, she gets stuck with her short little legs and has to be rescued!
Charlie is part Golden Retriever. She is a real lover who wouldn’t hurt a fly. She is also a rescue. Even though she is a senior, she is very smart, playful, and LOVES the snow.
The following is child’s dog’s play.
Charlie: Hum. Who can I talk into playing? Is that Abby over there?
Heidi: Not me. My tootsies are cold. I don’t like this wet stuff! I think I’ll make my way to the house.
Charlie: Hey Abby! Want to play?
Heidi: I think it’s snowing harder! Has anyone noticed this? Come on girls. Let’s go inside. Please!
Charlie: Come on brown, fluffy dog. Let’s play!
Heidi: Mom! Come get me please. I’m c-c-c-cold! MOM!
Charlie: Incoming! Catch me if you can!
Charlie: Tag! Your it!
Charlie: Tell you what. You can have a head start!
Charlie: Shall we dance – cha-cha-cha
Abby: Hey! I can float like a butterfly and sting like a bee.
Charlie: Nanner-nanner-nanner!
Abby: Here comes my bellyflop!
Abby: What was that?
Charlie: Did you hear that noise?
Heidi: I want to go inside!!! M-o-m!
Everyone: SQUIRREL!
